Maryam's journey into law started with a bachelor's in accounting, setting the stage for her LLB and LLM in International Law. Fueled by a passion for legal excellence and global relations, she continued her educational journey, earning a second LLM in Common Law from the renowned Allard School of Law at UBC in 2022. Before diving into Canadian law, Maryam gained hands-on experience as a litigation paralegal at two top-notch international firms. Working closely with diverse legal teams, she dove into preparing for hearings and trials, refining her skills in research, analysis, and case management. Adding more strings to her bow, Maryam spent a year as a legal assistant at a boutique firm in Vancouver. There, she dabbled in various legal areas, from real estate to civil law, all while keeping her focus on providing high standard service to clients. Driven by a passion for justice, Maryam is thrilled to lend her expertise to the Everyone Legal Clinic, serving underserved communities during her article period and currently she is working with Fulcrum Law as a seconded articled student. She's all about using her legal skills to empower individuals and make a real difference in their lives. When she's not immersed in law, Maryam enjoys culinary adventures and keeping active with fitness pursuits, bringing a vibrant energy to her life outside the legal realm.
